Wildfires are usually caused by human and natural factors (lightning, etc.). What can be done to prevent it? Preparing for the disaster. Keep some supplies at home, such as food and water, a torch, radio and first-aid kit, as an earthquake can affect access to basic things. Always have a plan, and practice for what you will do when there is an earthquake. Some knowledge of basic medical procedures may also be very useful.
