In China, the Lei Feng story is well known. His spirit has been passed down by many people with cultural differences.
Lugazo is a 24-year-old African boy. In 2017, he came to China to study. After arriving at the railway station in Wuhan, he was helpless because he had no idea which way to go, and he couldn’t speak any Chinese. A passenger sitting next to him on the train volunteered to take him to the university. The kind man was the first “Lei Feng” he met.
The experience encouraged Lugazo a lot. Several months later, he joined the university’s Volunteer Team and was given a red jacket with Lei Feng’s photo on it.
