Section Ⅳ　Writing 植物观察日志 写观察日志不仅能培养学生的观察能力，也能锻炼学生描写具体细节的写作能力。本单元所要求写作的植物观察日志要求学生能够用具体且科学的语言描绘植物的生长过程。 写植物观察日志要注意以下三点： 正确的人称 观察日记是记录植物的生长变化的书面材料，故一般用第三人称。 正确的时态 观察日记一般记叙已经发生了的事，因此多用现在完成时和一般过去时。但如果谈论个人感悟或客观事实等，也可用现在时态。 正确的顺序 根据事物的不同情况，采取合理的观察方法。如果你观察的是静物，或者其他变化不明显的物体，可以按照从整体到局部的顺序进行观察并描述。如果你观察的事物是变化比较明显的，可以按时间顺序进行观察和叙述。 [常用表达] 1．播种及发芽阶段 (1)．.has/have been planted in soil/a pot/flowerpot/flowerbed/.... (5)A bud gradually becomes a flower. (6)The roots grow deeper into the soil. 3．成熟及结果阶段 (1)．..grow(s) into... (2)Each stem produces a single flower. (3)As time goes by，it goes/runs to seed. (4)．..grow(s) taller and stronger... (5)．..flower(s) the following day.
