Analysis of the teaching material （教材分析） The content of this lesson is excerpted from Unit3 of Yilin Edition. The theme of this unit is “Welcome to Sunshine Town”. Through the study of this unit,Students will learn how to introduce a place, learn some sentence patterns to express suggestions, and how to express the possessive case of nouns. This is a reading course, students will understand the basic information about the environment, housing and leisure activities of Sunshine Town, as well as learn some daily communication language and introduce a place. II. Analysis of the students（学情分析） All the students are from the seventh grade. They have high initiative and enthusiasm in learning and are curious about new knowledge. However, some students still need to improve their English expression ability. They can not use the newly learned sentences fluently and smoothly, and need more practice. III. Play a video of Beijing Opera to students. 2.Guide students to read the content of the article quickly and answer the questions together in groups. Read the article quickly and answer the questions raised by the teacher. Playing video can attract students’ attention and improve students’ interest in reading articles. Group cooperation can improve students’ competitive awareness. While-reading (20 mins) 1. The teacher led the students to read each natural paragraph and asked the group to cooperate to answer the questions. 2.The teacher led the class to complete some exercises after class . 1. Students read the article together with the teacher’s ideas, and then answer the questions. 2.Complete the exercise together and correct your mistakes.
