How can seeds travel? How can this benefit plants?
Now let's watch a video and answer the question.
P65 2
Seeds usually are carried by the wind, water, and animals. Plants can have a better chance at life.
e.g. Hitchhikers(搭便车旅行的人) - Have you ever gotten home from a field trip and found your socks covered with sticky or prickly seeds? These seeds are now in a new place because you carried them. Animal fur and feathers are also good places to stick to and catch a ride.
Can you think of another example of seeds travelling? Share it with the class.
We live in a wonderful world that is full of beauty. Charm and adventure. There is no end of the adventures we can have if only we seek them with open eyes.
1. Can you describe an unusual animal in front of the class? Why is it different from common ones?
2. How can seeds travel? Can you list some examples of seeds travelling?
