Tu Youyou Wu Mengchao Born: Aug. 31, 1922 Died: May 22, 2021  Wu Mengchao was a Chinese surgeon and a medical scientist who specialized in hepatobiliary surgery.  He was also known as the "Father of Chinese Hepatobiliary Surgery"(中国肝胆外科之父). Florence Nightingale Born: May 12, 1820 Died: Aug. 13, 1910  Florence Nightingale is best known for her pioneering work in the field of nursing.  She tended to wounded soldiers during the Crimean War(克里米亚 战争).  She became known as the “Lady with the Lamp” because of her night rounds. 1.
