Step.1 Warm-up
1. Greeting.
2. Listen and do actions.
T: Stand up! Play basketball! Go swimming! Play the flute! Run! Dance!
3. T:Now,do the actions by yourself,and don’t move when you hear”Stop!”(学生会选择其中的一些动作来做).
T: Stop! Let’s see! What is this boy/girl doing? Elicit:He/she is <doing> sth.
What are you/they doing? etc.
Elicit them:现在进行时:主语+系动词be+动词ing.
Step.2 Presentation
1. T:Dear children,why are you looking at me? Oh, I know,because I’m lovely,just like a bear,right? I like bears,and you? What animals do you like?
(The students will tell the animals what they like.)
2. T: Daming liks animals too,and he’s got a new CD-ROM about the animals.(Teach the new word.)
Step.3 New Teaching
1. (Don’t open their books.)Listen to the text and answer the question:
What animals does it say?
Elicit: pandas , snakes
2. ①Now,open your books.Listen to the Paragraph 1 and tell:
Whose favourite animal is panda? What character about pandas?
Elicit: Pandas love bamboo.(板书:Module 7 Unit 1 Pandas love bamboo.)
They eat for twelve hours a day.
②Listen to the Paragraph 2 and tell: Do snakes love music? Why?
Elicit: No, they don’t. Snakes are deaf.
3. T: They can’t hear the music. But look at this picture,the snake is coming out of the box,why?
Elicit: The snake thinks the flute is another snake.So,it’s copying it.
4. ①Listen and repeat the text.
②Read by yourself,and underline the phrases.
Step.4 practice
1. Do the Exercise 2(AB).
2. Fill in the blanks.(Show it on the board.)
