Ask the students if they have some problems with the new words, what will they do with them? 2.Show the new words on the blackboard, then ask students to look up these new words in two ways: search the Internet or look up the dictionary. 3.Students find out the meaning of the new words and read the riddle again. They will guess what it is. Step 2 Brainstorm 1.T: Internet is widely used in our life. It’s fast and convenient. Do you often search the Internet? And what is the Internet used for? 2.Let students say something about it, then the teacher tells students that they will learn how to find the information on the Internet. Step 3 Show-how  There are three steps about how to find the information on the Internet. 1.Choose a search engine first. The teacher can introduce some famous search engines to students, such as Baidu, Google, Haoso, etc. 2.Type in the keywords. The teacher can take some examples about how to type in the keywords. Students can do the exercises on the book, Page 101 to know more about it. The teacher can also tell students: if they want to find the information quickly, they can make the keywords more detailed and accurate. 3.Look at the websites. After typing the keywords, there are lots of websites on the Internet. You can choose any of them to look at. Step 4 Practice 1.Task1: The teacher show some interesting questions to students and ask them to search the Internet and find out the answers. Each group has an ipad. Students can help each other to find out the answers to the questions. 2.Task2: let students look for the information on the Internet about which animal is easy to keep as a pet? They need to find out the name of the animal, its favourite food and how to look after it. After that, each group will make a poster according to the information they have found on the Internet. 3.When the students finish their posters, they can take photos of the posters and send them to the teacher by QQ. The teacher will show the posters to the students. 【拓展提高】 Step 5 Have a discussion 1.Let students talk about: Is it good for us to use the Internet very often? Students can have a free talk. 2.At last, the teacher can have a comment about Internet. “Internet is very important in our life, but it is not everything. We had better not sit in front of the computer all the time.
