Module 7 导学案 Unit 2 We all own English. 【学习目标】 1. 掌握本课单词和短语：boss, secretary, industry, zero, Indian, type, a quarter of, together with, at least, even though 2. 获取有关英语介绍的信息。 3. 掌握不定式。 【情景导入】 When you are traveling at home or abroad, what languages are commonly seen in public places? English is widely used in our daily life. 思考并回答问题，当我们在国内外旅行的时候，在公共场所我们能看到哪种语言？引出英语在我们的日常生活中被广泛应用。 设计意图：出示问题，正在学生思考并回答问题，锻炼学生的口语表达能力的同时，引出新课内容。 【完成教材Reading and vocabulary的任务】 1.小组合作完成任务1。 2.听录音，阅读课文内容，完成相关练习。 3.结合课文内容，完成任务3。 4.用所给单词，完成任务4。 【完成教材Writing的任务】 自行查阅资料，并根据自身实际情况，完成任务5。 【语法提要】 1. quarter n. 四分之一 e.g. My mother cut the cake into quarters. 我妈妈把蛋糕切成了四份。 quarter意为“四分之一”，three quarters意为“四分之三”，分别与one fourth和three fourths同义。分数的表达方式：分子是基数词，分母是序数词。当分子大于1时，分母要用复数形式。 【拓展】“a/one quarter of＋名词”作主语时，谓语动词的形式应根据of后面的名词的形式而定。当该名词是可数名词复数时，谓语动词用复数形式；当该名词是不可数名词时，谓语动词用单数形式。 e.g. Only a quarter of the water is drinkable. 只有四分之一的水可饮用。 One quarter of the students in this class come from the countryside. 这个班上四分之一的学生来自农村。 2. population n. 人口；人口数量 e.g. The whole world’s population is increasing faster and faster. 全世界的人口增长得越来越快。 【注意】 (1)提问人口多少用what，其固定句型为“What’s the population of...? ”。 e.g. What is the population of Canada? 加拿大的人口是多少？ (2)表示人口的多或少不用much或little，而用large或small。 e.g. Singapore has a small population. 新加坡人口少。 (3)population常与定冠词the连用，作主语时，谓语动词常用第三人称单数形式。 e.g. At the beginning of the twentieth century, the whole world's population was about 1,700 million. 在二十世纪初，全世界的人口大约是十七亿。 (4)当主语表示“人口的百分之几”时，谓语动词通常用复数形式。 e.g. About seventy percent of the population in China are farmers. 中国约有百分之七十的人口是农民。 (5)有时population可用作可数名词，其前可加不定冠词。 e.g. China has a population of about 1.3 billion. ＝There is a population of about 1.3 billion in China. 中国大约有十三亿人口。 3. together with 连同；同……一起 e.g. He sent me the book, together with a letter. 他将书寄给了我，还附上了一封信。 【拓展】当together with/with/along with连接名词或代词作主语时，即在结构“A＋together with/with/along with＋B”中，谓语动词的单复数形式要根据A来确定。 e.g. Jim together with his parents often goes to the movies. 吉姆和他的父母经常去看电影。 学科网（北京）股份有限公司 $$
