学情分析
一到三年级已经接触过一些动物和形容词类的词汇,有部分词汇学生比较熟悉,但本单元句型较难、课文对话比较长,还涉及的一些语法知识,这给学习本单元的知识的学生制造了一定的难度。
重点
1. 运用自然拼读规律拼读出新词。
2. 运用They are + 颜色. They have + 外貌特征. They are + 形容词.句型,较流畅地描述某动物的外貌及特点。
难点
运用拼读规律进行认读,准确流畅朗读;动物外貌特点的描述。

一、意义导入
1. Listen to the dialogue between the teacher and Po.
2.All the students sing the song “The animal sounds song”.
二、新课学习
1. Students listen to the sound of the animals and say the words mentioned in the song
2. Listen to the animal sounds, guess what animals they are. Read the new words and spell them.
3. Students match the pictures and the words.
4. Students count the animals.
5.Students chant together.
6.Listen to the animals’ profile and get the information. Spell and read the new word by phonics. Learn the sentence patterns “There are … in the picture. They are … They have … They are…” Students read the animals’ profile after the audio.
三、拓展迁移
1.Students practice and read the new words with opposite pairs.
2.Read the animals’ profile and guess the right answer.
3.Look at the picture carefully, practice the sentence patterns “There are … in the picture. They are … They have … They are…” by answering the questions.
