3. 借助词组和听得的信息,学会转变话题的口头表述方法和分享自己的观点,并就机器人三
大定律发表自己的看法,提升英语说的能力。
教学内容
教学重点:
1.引导学生获取信息后能形成自己的观点;
2.引导学生利用话语标记,提升获取信息的准确性。
教学难点:
1.引导学生克服心理困难,描述自己不熟悉的机器人的相关的场景;
2.引导学生利用听力中的资源,创造性地发表自己关于机器人和人工智能的看方。

Step 1
Lead-in
Look at the pictures and discuss the questions in pairs.
1 What jobs are these robots doing?
2 What are the pros and cons of robots doing these jobs?
Take picture 1 as an example and describe what jobs are the doing and the pros and cons of they doing the job.
Then show four more pictures for the students to observe and describe.

Step 2
Listen for information and discourse markers
1.Listen to an interview and put these statements in order.
2.Listen again and write down the discourse markers.

Thinking and exchange ideas
1.In groups, discuss what the expert thinks of the questions and exchange your own views. You may use the following expressions to help.
2. What advantages and disadvantages do you think robots or AI will bring?
3. Do you have any suggestions on the laws of Robotics in the science fiction?
4. Show a video clip of the three laws of robotics made by Isaac Asimov.
Law 1: A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
Law 2: A robot must obey orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
Law 3: A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.
