教学过程
Step 1
1 Teacher presents a travel brochure about America and asks the questions:
· What ethnic groups are mentioned?
· Where can you learn about these ethnic groups?
· What would you gain from such a trip?
2 Introduce the China Tourism Day to students and create a scenario for students to create a travel brochure of China.
Step 2
1 Compare two brochures and figure out the features of brochure.
2 Group discussion: what culture would you choose?
Discuss based on the following questions:
· How long will the travelers stay in China?
· What kind of cultures will they be interested in?
· To present these cultures, what places should be introduced and what activities should be recommended?
3 Read news and watch a video and select useful information.
Step 3
Organize the information and write two passages for the brochures.
Step 4
Put materials together and design the brochure.
Step 5
Group assignment: work in groups of four to create a travel brochure.
