设计意图:视频激发学生兴趣,引出表语从句。
Step 2 Exploring the rules
1. What are these sentences in common?
(They all belong to the simple sentence:主+系+表)
2. What is predictive?
表语是用来说明主语的身份、性质、品性、特征和状态的,表语常由名词、代词、数词、动词过去分词、动词的-ing形式、副词、介词短语、形容词、不定式和从句等来充当,它常位于系动词之后。
3. What is predictive clauses?
1) 表语从句的定义:在复合句中作主句的表语的句子,用于系动词之后。对主语进行解释、说明,使主语的内容具体化。用陈述语序。
2)结构:主语+系动词+引导词+简单句
4. 可以接表语从句系动词有:
be动词 感官动词:feel, look, sound, taste, smell
表示状态:remain, keep, stay 表示变化:become, get, grow, turn, go, fall
证明:prove, turn out 似乎:seem, appear.
5. 表语从句中的连接词
1).从属连词、连接代词和连接副词。
2). Working out the rules
We can use a noun clause as the predicative of a sentence.
We can use that to introduce a predicative clause when the clause is a (1) _________. We can use whether to introduce a predicative clause when the clause is a (2) _____________. We can use what, why, when, where, etc. to introduce a predicative clause when the clause is a (3) ___________.
3) 连接词的区分和用法分析
(1) that / what

(2) as if / as though
1 He looks as if he _____(be) a rich man.
2 He looked just as if he __________(loo
