Australia is a large country and has as many different signs and features from other places and multi-cultural nature of the population. The history, culture and social organization of the Aboriginal peoples of Australia is another topic that will interest students. Using what they have learnt, students will then give a presentation on something they consider representative of China. The passage goes on to explore some representative animals of Australia in order to activate students’ knowledge of representative animals of China. They will then use what they have learnt to write about an iconic Chinese animal. Finally, students will produce an introduction of their own city or town.
