This unit is unique, in that it uses a western film, adapted from a story by Mark Twain to figure out the value of money. It is hoped that we will reconsider the role of money in our own lives, and how wealth is so often used as a measure of people, and come to a healthier understanding of the role of money in our lives. Through this unit, we will enhance the understanding and appreciation of literature and art, develop the critical thinking and creative thinking, and learn from the achievements of human civilization.
