The topic of this unit is animals in a zoo. Animals are our friends. We share the earth together. Through learning, we will understand the importance of protecting animals and the environment deeply. Furthermore, we will learn to protect animals and take actions in our daily life.

By the end of this unit, we will be able to:
1. talk about animals with “why& where” and description words to express preferences.
2. describe elephants and pandas in your own words after listening and reading .
3. introduce pandas to your pen pal completely and show your idea about animal protection.
4. reconstruct your mind map about animals by reading and using.
单元任务
Your pen pal Becky is new in China. She is a member of Animal Protection Association(动物保护协会). She wants to visit the Zoo on weekends and wants to know about pandas in China. Make a plan to help her with your classmates!
