Teaching analysis of reading Good morning, everyone, it is my great honor to be here sharing my lesson with you. My topic today is teaching analysis of reading. I will give my presentation with three parts: Analysis of the teaching aims and students about reading, Analysis of the test paper , Strategies to be adopted in the second round revision . Part one: Teaching aims: 1.help to improve students’ reading comprehension 2.improve students’ abilities of using different reading skills and strategies 3.lay stress on students’ language ability, thinking quality and cultural awareness The important points and difficult points: 1.have a good knowledge of different styles of the passages (practical writing 应用文 narrative writing 记叙文 expository writing 说明文 argumentative writing 议论文) 2.use different strategies to solve different kinds of questions (细节理解题，推理判断题，猜测词义题，主旨判断题) Analysis of students: practical writing and narrative writing are relatively easy for most of the students, expository writing and argumentative writing are relatively difficult for them. As for the questions, the questions which need them to infer from the passages are most difficult for most of the students.So students need effective guidance from teachers. Part two: Analysis of the paper in 2023: The expository writing is the most difficult type of reading for students. The questions about details and questions that can be inferred from the passage are difficult for students. 说明文仍然是重难点，细节理解题和推理判断题仍然是重难点 Analysis of different test paper By comparing different test papers, we can see that the types of passages and the themes have little change. The number of questions that can be inferred from the passage have a tendency to increase. 文章类型和主题语境类型没太大变化，推理判断题有增加趋势 Different questions: The questions about details usually refer to the specific information in the passage and begin with the words like “who”,”when”,”where”,”why”,”how much”,”what”,”which”,”how many” and so on.
