介词+关系代词 构成：先行词+介词+which/whom 介词+关系代词即可引导非限制性定语从句，又可引导限定性定语从句。 一、关系代词的选取 在“介词＋关系代词"引导的定语从句中， 如果先行词指代物，关系代词就用which 如果先行词指代人，关系代词则用whom Exercise 1: 物 eg: This is the classroom in cleaned yesterday. (1) He lives in a house, the window of faces the south. (2) There are fifty students of are from the north. 二、介词的选取 1、根据先行词的习惯搭配来确定介词。 先 先行词往往是表示时间、地点、原因、方法、工具等词。 Exercise 2: on…day 在某一天 eg: Do you still remember the day we met for the first time? (1) The children were frightened when they saw the scene people were eaten by the tiger. (2)I don't know the reason he was late again. 2、根据从句中动词或形容词的固定搭配来选取介词。 动/形 Exercise 3:shake hands with sb. 与某人握手 eg：This is the person she shook hands just now. (1) The book my mother spent 40 yuan was lost. (2) The student I want to be grateful is Tom. 3、根据句子的意义来确定合适的介词。义物 Exercise 4: eg： We should attach great importance to water resource, we cannot live. (1) This is the salesman I bought a car. (2) It serves as a window we can learn a lot about American culture. 四字口诀：先/动/形/义 三、注意替换 1.介词in，on，at，for等与关系代词which 引导定语从句时，可与关系副词when/where/why进行替换。 注意：先行词是时间用when 先行词是地点用where 先行词是原因用why Exercise 5: eg：There used to be a time during which the Chinese people struggled for freedom. time在从句做时间状语 = There used to be at time when the Chinese people struggled for freedom. （1）This is the factory in which my dad used to work. = This is the factory my dad used to work. （2）Finding a job as a singer was the reason for which I moved. = Finding a job as a singer was the reason moved. 2．of whom/of which, 其中of whom指人，of which指物。（一般用于非限制性定语从句） of的用法： of表同位关系：即用在A+ of +B结构中，其中A和B是同位关系。 of表整体与部分的关系，即用部分+of+整体的结构。 （1）从句主语是few、little、some、most、many等时。 Eg：There are a lot of people in the room, many of whom I don’t
