Unit 4 Natural Disasters Listening and Speaking Analysis of teaching material （教学内容分析）:本节课的内容是人教版必修一第四单元的 Listening and Speaking部分。该板块的活动主题是“播报自然灾害”（Report natural disasters）。要求学生通过观看视频并听新闻播报，最终完成模拟播报自然灾害新闻的活动。本节课作为一节听说课，将主要分为听前准备、听力理解和口语表达三大部分。Analysis of the learners（学习者分析）:本节课授课对象为新泰市新汶中学高一十班学生。本班共 49人，其中中考成绩班级排名前 20的学生均选择了日语语种，因此，实际英语生人数为其余 29人。因此，本班学生不仅英语基础相对较弱，词汇量低，而且整体的学习氛围、学习习惯和学习能力都相对较差。基于这一实际情况，课堂内容设置不宜过多，且难度不宜过大。 Key competences（核心素养目标）: Language abilities（语言能力）:Students master the expressions of different natural disasters; Learning abilities（学习能力）: According to the questions, students can predict the listening content and find out the key information; Cultural awareness（文化意识）: Students can imitate news reports briefly and broadcast the natural disasters; Thinking qualities（思维品质）:Students learn about the major natural disasters in the world and learn to face them positively.
