A
The year before last, I visited New Zealand with my parents and my younger sister. I was really excited to visit such a beautiful place and we all had a good time. I was attracted by the beautiful country. When we walked in a small town there, we visited a Chinese restaurant and found authentic (正宗的) Henan food. It was delicious.
We had a short talk with the owner of the restaurant. From his words, we knew that he was a 50yearold man from Fujian. He came to the small town in 2006. Since he couldn't find a good Chinese restaurant to eat Chinese food, he opened his restaurant in 2010. He has ingredients (原料) which are shipped directly from Henan, so his food tastes good. Of course, many people go there to have Chinese meals, including Chinese people and foreigners.

I found this to be touching. Although he has to deal with language problems and sometimes there aren't enough proper ingredients, he still tries his best to cook authentic Chinese food. At the same time, he has changed some of his food to meet local tastes.
“I just want more people to have the chance to eat food from my homeland. It's a pleasant thing to see people enjoy delicious food,” the man said. This man has helped to spread Chinese culture by bringing Henan food to New Zealand. I think Henan food is a good symbol of the richness of Chinese culture.
