Do you often argue with each other? Watch a video about the students. Step 1 Teacher: You see, they often study or play together. And never argued with each other. But sometimes good friends may have different ideas. Look at the two boys in the picture. Can you guess:What happened to them? Play the tape and let the students try to answer. Step 2 Let the students read the whole passage quickly, and try to find : How is the passage structured? Step 3 Let the students read Paragraph 1 carefully and try to find: Q1: How does the writer describe their good relationship? “Two peas in a pod” Do we have some Chinese sayings to describe friendship？ Show the students some famous Chinese sayings like: 患难见真情 （A friend in need is a friend indeed.） 海内存知己，天涯若比邻（Long distance separates no bosom friend.） 有朋自远方来，不亦乐乎（It’s a pleasure to have friends coming from afar.） Q2: Why did Grant want to copy Patrick’s homework?
