Step3 Learning 1.过去进行时的被动语态是过去进行时和被动语态的叠合，表示在过去某一时间正在进行的被动性的动作，强调动作发生的过程。 2. 其结构如下： （1）肯定句：was / were + being + done She looked behind to make sure she was being followed. （2）否定句：was / were + not + being + done She looked behind to make sure she______________________. （3）一般疑问句：was / were提前 Was a new building being put up in his school just then? （4）特殊疑问句：特殊疑问词 + was / were / being done How was the building being built last year this time? 3.过去进行时被动语态的时间状语： 因为过去进行时的被动语态表示过去正在进行的被动动作，所以一般不与表示一段时间的状语或表示次数的状语连用，否则，则要用完成时的被动语态。 a.
