Period 1 Listening and speaking 课型 新授课 1. 教学内容分析： 【What】 本节课为本单元的第一课时（Section A 1a-2d），为听说课。本部分听力文本为Anna和母亲的谈话，谈话内容围绕青少年是否能够被允许开车、穿耳洞、戴耳环、以及自己挑选衣服。母亲对此发表自己的观点并阐释理由。2d部分为Sandy和她的同学Wu Lan之间的对话，对话发生的背景为即将要去由老师组织的参观博物馆活动，他们在谈论在参观博物馆过程中的一些规则（be not allowed to take photos, should be allowed to…）。 【Why】 学生在对话中加深对不同立场观点的理解，通过简单输出观点，表达立场。 【How】 对话中呈现了本单元的重点语言结构：与情态动词连用的被动语态，以及同意与不同意的表达。学生在语境中体会上述语言结构的用法。 2. 学习者分析 话题方面，学生在七年级下册已经学习过祈使句表达规则的用法，以及在八年级下册学习过与父母之间的沟通等话题；在语言方面，通过前面两个单元的学习，学生已经明白被动语态的表意功能，并能够使用含有一般现在时和一般过去时的情态动词的用法。本节课学生可能存在的障碍是在听的过程中捕捉较长的句子所含有的关键信息，以及有逻辑地表述自己的观点和理由。 3.学习目标确定 At the end of this period, students will be able to: 1. learn to understand and use should be allowed to… to tell the rules; 2. tell the true meaning of rules and express your opinions on these rules. 4.学习重点难点 教学重点：目标1、2 教学难点：有逻辑的表述自己的观点和理由；理解规则的意义，进行批判性思维。 5.学习活动设计 教师活动 学生活动 环节一：Dialogue 1 教师活动1 Pre-listening Step 1: Asks students to watch a video and tell: Should teenagers under 18 years old be allowed to drink?
