What is a masterpiece? Introduce the definition of 【masterpiece】 2. Present the main works of each master to arouse students interest in the topic. 3. Guide ss to describe the three pictures using the reference words and phrases. Ss discuss with their partner and share their answers with the whole class. Activate Ss’ background information connected to the topic and explain some new words and expressions for further use.
