I'm going to talk about my instructional design from the following seven parts: teaching guideline, analysis of the teaching material, analysis of the students, teaching objectives, teaching and learning methods, teaching procedures and teaching reflection. 1.Teaching guideline First, let’s start with the teaching guideline. Under the guidance of new curriculum standard, in this lesson through the implementation of integration of views on English learning activities and the integration of teaching-learning-assessment, the formation and development of students’ core competences will be gradually promoted. Besides, the big ideas put forward in recent years provide an overall guidance for effective instructional design. 2.Analysis of the teaching material Now let's move to the teaching material analysis: the theme of this unit is about man and nature, the big idea of this unit is to protect the wildlife, maintain ecological balance and coexist with nature. The topic of this lesson is to help the wildlife in the neighborhood. The teaching period we focus on today is period five: listening and talking, which serves as the bridge to connect the former part and the latter part of this unit. What: The listening text consists of two narrations and a conversation.
