What the applicant knows about this job and this company
What educational background and qualifications the applicant has

What job interview questions can you think of?
Read the sample in part C on page 41 and answer the following questions.
(1) Who is usually involved in a job interview?
(2) What questions may be asked about an applicant?
(3) How do interviewers interact with an applicant?
(4) Can an applicant ask any questions during an interview?
Sample
(1) Several interviewers and an applicant.
(2) Questions may include the reason for the application, the applicant’s work experience and his or her plan to deal with working pressure.
(3) Interviewers usually interact with an applicant gracefully and politely, frequently saying “thank you” or “thanks”. They’re likely to make some positive comments in response to what an applicant says, such as “Sounds good!” or “Good!”.
(4) Yes, of course. An applicant can acquire more detailed information about the position as well as show his or her interest in the position by asking questions.
As a group, conduct the mock job interview in front of the class.
