Teaching Procedure: Stage Learning Activities Purposes Lead-in 1.Analyze the topic of Unit 1 To warm up students and elicit the topic. Pre-listening 1. Look at the picture and find out which city Kitty and her classmates have been to. 2. Predict what they will talk about. To raise students’ awareness of analyzing the picture. To guide students to predict the content. While-listening 1. Listen to the recording for the first time and check the predictions.
