Step 2　Cooperative inquiry 1.Show 1a on the screen.Then ask students to look at the picture and discuss the ways they could help people in the picture.Then list other ways. 2.Read the content in 1b.And then listen to the tape to number the ways the boy and girl could help others. 3.Ask students to practice the conversation in the picture in 1a.Then make other conversations using the information in 1b.After that，ask some pairs of students to show the conversations. 4.A group of students are planning a City Park Clean­Up Day.Look at the pictures in 2a first and then listen and check the things they are going to do to tell people about it. 5.Look at the sentences in 2b.Then listen again and fill in the blanks in 2b. 6.Ask students to make a conversation using the information in 2a and 2b.Then ask one group to show their conversation. 7.Ask students to read the conversation in 2d and try to role­play it. 8.Explain the language points with examples.Then talk about the grammar in this lesson. 9.Make a summary of this lesson. 10.Do some exercises to consolidate the key points.
