修辞手法——暗喻 暗喻(Metaphor)也叫隐喻，是简缩了的明喻，但不用比喻词like或as作对比，是将某一事物的名称用于另一事物，通过比较形成，从而更生动，更深刻地说明事理，增强语言的表现力。 1．喻体直述式：本体＋是＋喻体 ①A book that is shut is but a block. 总是合着的书只不过是一块砖头而已。 ②I was, inwardly, all white flag.[描写妥协] 我的内心已举起了白旗。 ③Laughter is the sun that drives winter from the human face.[描写笑的作用] 笑容好比阳光，驱散人们脸上的寒意和阴霾。 ④Kindness is a golden chain by which society is bound.[描写善良的作用] 善良是连接社会的一条金色链条。 2．喻体半隐式/全隐式：通过动词/形容词/副词/介词短语等 ①I felt a lump in my throat, tears welling up in my eyes.[描写伤心] 我感到喉咙哽咽了，泪水也涌了出来。 ②The boy wolfed down the food the moment he grabbed it.[描写饥饿时吃东西] 那男孩一抓住食物就狼吞虎咽地吃了下去。 ③He melted into tears.[描写落泪] 他哭了起来。 ④A heavy silence blanketed the room.[描写沉默寂静] 房间里一片寂静。 ⑤The boy couldn't bear the biting north wind.[描写寒冷] 那男孩受不了那刺骨的北风。 ⑥They escaped by a hair's breadth. 他们死里逃生。 3．使用了暗喻的习语 ①Experience is the best teacher. 经验是良师。 ②Do not put the cart before the horse. 勿将本末倒置。 ③A new broom sweeps clean. 新官上任三把火。 ④Give him an inch and he will make a mile. 得寸进尺。 ⑤A little pot is soon hot. 小锅易沸，小人易怒。 ⑥Sticks at the head. 上梁不正下梁歪。 ⑦Still waters run deep. 水静流深，人静心深。 [即学即练]完成句子 1．我的心脏怦怦直跳。 My heart was pumping． 2．绿色植物是一种食品工厂。 The green plant is a kind of food factory． 3．第二天他非常尴尬。 The next day he had a very red face． 4．时间就是金钱． Time is money. 5．一层雪覆盖了地面。 A blanket of snow covered the ground. 6．我迷失在叫不上名字的面孔的海洋中。 I was lost in a sea of nameless faces． 7．老师播下了智慧的种子。 The teacher planted the seeds of wisdom． 8．风雨鞭打着房子。 Wind and rain now whipped the house． 9．我浏览这本书，去品尝一下它的基调。 I skim over the book to taste the tone of it． 10．有些书只需要浅尝辄止，有的则需要吞下去，少数的还需要细嚼慢咽，好好消化。 Some books are to be tasted, others swallowed, and some few to be chewed and digested． 学科网（北京）股份有限公司 $$
