Question Tags with The Present/Past Simple 一般现在/过去时态中的反义疑问句（全英讲解） Hello everyone! Today, let's talk about question tags. We often use a question tag at the end of a sentence to check that we're right about something. Question tags use the same tense as the main sentence, but usually if the sentence is affirmative, the tag is negative and when the sentence is negative, the tag is affirmative. We make the question tag using the subject from the sentence, but we always use a pronoun. So, if the subject is 'Lucy' we use 'she' and if the subject is 'the children', we use 'they'. In the present simple, we use do / don't / does / doesn't for every verb except 'be'. With 'be' we use am / is / are / aren't / isn't.
