Have you got anything less expensive? 5 （2）当形容词或else修饰复合不定代词时, 形容词或else必须放在复合不 定代词之后。如： There is something interesting in the book. （3）复合不定代词可作主语、宾语和表语, 不能作定语。作主语时, 谓语 动词通常用单数。如： Somebody is talking in the empty house. （4）somebody还可意为“大人物, 重要人物”; nobody还可意为“小人物, 无名小卒”。如： I’d like to be somebody. 6 （5）There is something/nothing wrong with… 意为“……出/没出问题”。 如： There is something wrong with the car. （6）…have something/nothing to do with… 意为“……与……有关/无关”。 如： The case has nothing to do with me. （7）can do nothing but… 意为“什么都不能做, 只能……”。如： We can do nothing but wait. 7 考点精练 一、选择填空 1.
