I first called the police and Wildlife Protection Organization, but their hands were far and away. On the beach hardly a person could be seen. For these dolphins, it was a life-or-death moment. Then more and more people arrived after that. With direction from fishermen, about 40 volunteers were able to get to work on digging, pulling and bringing smaller dolphins to deeper waters.
