mous temple the following day. Seeing those two
lines on the wall, he added another two lines to
form a complete poem. Chang Jian used his two not-
very-good lines to invite a wonderful poem completed

Every year, nearly a million children in the
world die because of unintentional injuries(意外伤
害), and the biggest killer is the traffic accident,
according to a report from the Worldwide Health
Organization.
The report says that traffic accidents, falls,
falling into water, fires and poisoning (中毒) are
the five major causes of unintentional injuries.
The World Health Organization finds that roads
are the most dangerous places for children, espe-
cially in some developing countries. Because chil-
dren in these countries havent learned about the
danger of road traffic, they are often not ready for
the new roads that might be built through their villa-
ges.
In Asia, deaths are most often caused by
bikes. It is usual to see a whole family on one bike
in countries such as Vietnam. When they are
knocked over, they will be badly injured and some
may even die.
In the United States and other Western coun-
tries, injuries from road traffic accidents have been
cut down through the use of safety seats for children
and other safety measures.
In a word, safety should come first at any
time, and it needs efforts from society, families and
schools.

to the text? (不超过 5 个词)
The traffic accident.

3. How does the US reduce its road traffic acci-
dents? (不超过 15 个词)
Through the use of safety seats for children
and other safety measures.

China has a very large population in the world. Be-
cause of the large population, there is less living space
for each family. And its difficult for lots of people to
find jobs. The large population also causes many other
difficulties for the whole nation. For example, we are
short of energy and water. Most cities are more crowded
than before, and the traffic is much heavier. The large
population has become a serious problem.
The population problem in China is really serious,
so I think the government should find out more ways to
solve it. I believe we can make it.

How to Keep Safe
As teenagers, we should always keep safety in
mind. But how can we keep safe? Here are some sug-
gestions.
When we are at school, we should listen to the
teachers and never have a fight with our classmates.
Also, we mustnt run too fast in classrooms or in the
teaching building, because it may cause accidents. At
home, it is necessary to use electricity and natural gas
safely. If we are out, we should follow the traffic rules
while riding or walking. Never swim in the river. Its re-
ally dangerous. When we are in danger, remember to
call 110, and then the police will help us in time.
Safety is so important that it must come first. I
hope the above suggestions can really help.
