Lesson 2 语法填空考点2：状语从句 知识点讲解 ★ 状从本质 用不同的连接词将几个分句连接起来，表达分句间特定的逻辑关系。 状从种类 常用连接词 一、时间 when, whenever, while, as, before/ after, (ever) since, until, by+[time], hardly/ just…when 没来得及...就, no sooner…than 一...就, as soon as, the moment, instantly, immediately 一...就, the first time + 句子, each time, every time 二、地点 where, wherever, anywhere, everywhere, nowhere 三、原因 because, as, since, seeing that/ now that/ considering that, for, for the sake of, for the reason that, in that 四、目的 in order that, so that, for the purpose that, with the aim/ intention of for fear that, in case, lest 五、结果 so/ such that, so/ such…that 六、条件 if, unless, on (the) condition that, providing/ provided (that), as/ so long as, suppose/ supposing (that), what if, in case, given that 七、让步 though, although, even if/even though, while, as 倒装, whatever, whichever, wherever, whenever, whoever, however, no matter, whether…or 八、方式 as, as if/ as though 九、比较 than, as…as. not so…as, the more…the more, (just) as…so… ★时间状从 1. when, while, as ※when 有一些特定含义： “突然，就” I had been working a couple of months when I had a letter from Jane. 常用于以下句型： was /were doing + when … (正在做……突然间……) be about to … +when … (正要做……突然间……) hadn’t done … +when … (还没……就突然……) e.g. We were having a meeting when a stranger rushed in. 我们在开会，突然一个陌生人闯了进来。 He was about to leave when the telephone rang. 他正要离开，突然电话响了。 He had not fallen asleep when the teacher called him. 他还没睡着，老师就把他叫醒 了。 ※while 有三个用法： (1). 当……时候(进行时) (2). 然而，而（并列） (3). 尽管 although ※as有“随着”的含义：As spring warms the good earth, all flowers begin to bloom. 有“紧接着”的含义：As we were going out, it began to rain. 还可以表示“因为”、“正如”、“作为”…… 2. before before 可以表示“才”或“就”。 She had acted the role of a good student for three years before the teacher discovered her little weaknesses. 他俩认识七年才结婚。They had known each other for seven years before they got married. 他俩认识七天就结婚了。They had known each other for seven days before they got married. 还有很久才：It will be + 时间段 + before sb. do 还没多久就：It wo
