Another bridge was being built in the village then. 那时村庄上正在建造另一座桥。 (2)否定式：主语+ was/were not being done(+其他). The proposal was not being carried out well.那个建议进展得不顺利。 (3)一般疑问式：Was/Were+主语+being done? Was a new library being set up in their school just then? 他们学校当时正在建一座新图书馆吗？ (4)特殊疑问式：特殊疑问词+ was/were(+主语)+beingdone? What was being done to the pollution? (你们)在对这个污染采取什么措施？ 2.用法： (1)表示在过去某一特定时间某事正在被做。 He was being interviewed by our headmaster then. 他当时正在接受我们校长的面试。 This film was being shown at that time. 这部电影那个时候正在放映。 (2)少数及物动词的过去进行时表示过去按计划、安排将要发生的动作。 Some rock music was being played by them next. 下面将由他们演奏一些摇滚音乐。 A party was being held at the hall tonight. 今晚大厅将举办一场晚会。 二. 过去完成时的被动语态 1.构成 (1)肯定式：主语+had been done(+其他). The media reported that more than 1,000 people had been killed in the earthquake. 媒体报道有1 000多人在地震中丧生。 (2)否定式：主语+hadn't been done (+其他).
