主谓一致 (写作必会:国内考试作文 国外托福 雅思 GRE) 1. 语法一致原则 识记为主 (1)谓语动词要与主语的人称保持一致 I am eighteen, and she is seventeen. There is a desk in the room. There are no chairs in it. John gets up at six o’clock every morning. They have not come yet. Nobody knows who is going to win in the competition. What is the latest news about the Olympic Games? (2)两个名词或代词由 and 连接作主语时,谓语动词一般用复数形式。 Wang Gang and Zhou Lan were here a moment ago. 王刚和周兰刚才还在这儿。 My brother and I have both seen the film. 我哥哥和我都看过这部电影。 Both rice and wheat are grown in this part of China. 在中国这个区域种植水稻和小麦。 注意:当 and 不表示并列意义,而连接两个意义,表示同一人,同一物或同一概念,或由两个部件构成的物品时,谓语动词不能用复数,只能用单数。如: The professor and writer is speaking at the meeting. 那位教授兼作家正在会上发言。 One more knife and fork is needed. 还需要一副刀叉。 War and peace is a constant theme in history. 战争与和平是历史上一个永恒的主题。 When and where to go has not been decided. 什么时候走,走到哪里去还没有决定。 (3)and 连接的两个名词作主语,表示不同的人或事物,其概念是复数,谓语动词用复数 Her teacher and her friend are in the sitting-room. 她的老师和朋友都在客厅。 (4)and 连接的两个名词作主语,指同一个人,同一件事或同一个概念时,谓语动词用单数。此时,后一个名词前不用冠词。 Bread and butter is healthful food. 涂有黄油的面包是有益于健康的食物。 The poet and writer has produced many works. 这个诗人兼作家写出了很多作品。 (5)and 连接的并列主语是单数,前面有 every,each 等词修饰时,谓语动词用单数。但 each 放在由 and 连接的并列单数主语后面,修饰复数概念的主语时,谓语动词用复数形式。 Each boy and each girl has been invited to the tea-party. 每个男孩和每个女孩都被邀请参加茶话会。 The boy and the girl each have their own toys. 这个男孩和这个女孩每人都有自己的玩具。 (6)and 后加 no 构成复合主语时,谓语动词用复数。 All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. 只工作不玩耍,聪明也会变傻。 (7) both…and 连接的两个并列成分做主语时,谓语动词用复数。 Both Tom and Mark are my friends. 汤姆和马克都是我的好朋友。 (8)不定代词 either,neither,each,one,the other,another,someone,somebody,something,anyone, anybody,anything,everyone,everybody,everything,nobody,no one,nothing 等作主语时,谓语动词常用单数。【切记改错时要仔细考虑】 Everyone here is behaving very coldly towards you. 这里的每一个人都对你很冷漠。 Nobody knows exactly how many species of plants and animal there are on Earth. 没有人确切地知道地球上有多少种植物和动物。 Is there anything wrong with their car? 他们的汽车出故障了吗? (9)than,with,as well as,along with,together w
