Unit 1 Past and present Integrated skills & Study skills 首先通过一组图片复习旧知识,导入新课并呈现本课时的生词,进而完成A1、A2部分的听力练习,同时也了解月光镇的过去和现在。根据A1和A2 部分来完成A3 部分的内容。Speak up 以听力训练形式呈现,进而简单谈论自己和朋友的过去和现在,再对知识点进行详细的讲解。Study skills通过一组学生熟悉的图片让学生了解“事实”和“观点”的区别,继而让学生到本单元去找表达“事实”和“观点”的句子,然后完成书上的练习。 教学目标 通过本课节的教学,让学生达成以下目标: 1.知识目标 掌握词汇:environment, condition, return, last, abroad, primary, communicate, communication, exactly, keep in touch with, be/get used to 2.能力目标 (1)通过听录音,获取有关星光镇变化的信息并完成日记; (2)简单谈论自己和朋友的过去和现在。 3.情感目标 培养学生对美好生活的热爱。 重点难点 1.重点:通过听录音获取有关星光镇变化的具体信息,并根据获取的信息做笔记并完成日记。 2.难点:谈论自己和朋友的过去和现在。 教学准备 PPT 课件;相关图片。 授课时数 1课时 教学过程 Step 1 Lead-in Show the class some pictures and talk about the changes between in the past and now. The neighborhood used to be dirty, but now it has been clean. People used to travel by bike, but now they has traveled by car/plane. The train used to run slowly, but now the high-speed train can run very fast. Step 2 Presentation Show some pictures and teach some new words. The environment is becoming better these days. n. 环境 Modern transport makes our life much easier. n. 交通工具 The government is trying to improve people’s living condition. n. 环境;条件 Step 3 Discussion Talk about the changes to Sunshine Town. What was Sunshine Town like in the past and what’s Sunshine Town like today? Think about the environment, the transport and the living conditions. In the past, it was polluted because the factory used to put its waste into the river. Now it’s clean because the government took action to improve the situation. Now, the river is much cleaner.
