八年级上5单元语法 1. want to do sth. “想要做某事”； want sb. to do sth “想要某人做某事” Eg：Nobody wants you to give up.“没有人想要你放弃。” 2. show （n）表演 be on show “正在上演；正在演出” （v）表演，展示 show sb sth = show sth to sb “给某人展示某物。” show sb around… “带某人参观……” Eg：Please show me your books. = Please show your books to me. “请给我展示一下你的书” Let me show you around the school. “让我带你参观一下学校” 3. talk about… “谈论……”；talk with/ to sb “与……交谈/聊天”；have a talk “谈一谈” Eg：① Let's talk about everyone’s preferences. “让我们来谈谈每个人的偏好。” ② I want to talk with my best friend everyday. “我每天都想要和我的朋友聊天” ③ Let's have a talk.“让我们谈一谈” 4. preference （n）偏好，喜好 prefer （v）较喜欢；更愿意 ① prefer A to B “更喜欢A而不是B” Eg：I prefer ice cream to jelly. “我更喜欢冰淇凌而不是果冻。” ② prefer doing sth “更喜欢做某事”=prefer to do sth Eg：Greg prefers playing football. = Greg prefers to play football. “格雷格更喜欢踢足球。” ③ prefer doing A to doing B “比起B来，更喜欢做A事。”= prefer to do A rather than do B Eg：Greg prefers playing football to playing basketball.= Greg prefers to play football rather than play basketball. “比起打篮球，格雷格更喜欢踢足球。” ④ prefer sb to do sth“宁愿某人做某事”；prefer sb not to do sth “宁愿某人不做某事” Eg：Greg prefers his mother to order take-out food. “格雷格宁愿他的妈妈点外卖。” Greg prefers his mother not to cook. “格雷格宁愿他的妈妈不做饭。” 5. plan （n）计划 make a plan “做一个计划”；make a plan for…“为……做一个计划。” （v）计划，打算 plan to do sth “计划做某事” Eg：She plans to watch a talk show. “她打算看一个访谈节目。” She made a learning plan for her winter vacation last night. “她昨晚为寒假坐了一个学习计划。” 6. mind （n）思维，心智 mind map “思维导图”；in one's mind “在某人心里/脑海中” （v）介意 ① mind doing sth “介意做某事”； ② make up one's mind to do sth “下定决心做某事。” ③ Would/could you mind doing sth “你介意做某事吗？” Eg：He made up his mind to study hard this term. “他这学期下定决心努力学习。” Would you mind waiting outside for a moment? “你介意在外面稍等一会儿吗？” 7. stand （v）站立；忍受 ① can't stand sb/sth “不能忍受某人/某物” ② can't stand （sb）doing sth “不能忍受（某人）做某事。” ③ can't help doing sth “情不自禁做某事。” Eg：I can't stand any more. “我再也不能忍受你了。” I can't stand staying at home everyday. “我受不了每天呆在家里。”
