Section Ⅳ　Writing of the Unit 写一封建议信 建议信通过具有说服性的言辞向收信人提供你的看法、劝告或建议，以达到使对方接受自己观点的目的。由于在向对方提出建议时，不仅要提出解决方案，而且要详细陈述建议的理由使对方信服，所以建议信的内容既有论述的成分，又有书信的特点。 建议信一般要首先说明写信的目的，其次在肯定优点的基础上提出自己的建议或看法，最后表达希望采纳建议。 [基本框架] [常用表达] 1．I know you have trouble in...after reading your letter．I am writing to give you some suggestions/ offer you some advice． 在读了你的信后，我知道你在……有困难。我写这封信的目的是给你一些建议/忠告。 2．I'm very glad to receive your letter asking for my advice on...．Here are a few suggestions． 很高兴收到你的来信，信中询问我关于……下面是我的一些建议。 3．In my opinion/Personally/As far as I'm concerned，it would be wise to take the following action． 在我看来，采取如下行动是明智的。 4．I think it would be more beneficial if you could... 我认为如果你能……可能会更有利。 5．If you want...，...would be the best choice． 如果你想……，……将是最好的选择。 6．I'd like to suggest that.../In my opinion.../I would like to make a recommendation that.../May I suggest that...? 我建议……/我可以建议……吗？ 7．I hope you will find these suggestions helpful．/I hope my suggestions will be of benefit to you． 我希望你会觉得这些建议有帮助。/我希望我的建议对你有益。 8．I believe that you will take my suggestions into serious account．Whatever you decide to do，good luck with your studies/work! 我相信你会认真考虑我的建议。无论你决定做什么，祝你学业/工作顺利。 假定你是李华，你的英国笔友John写信询问你关于如何过低碳生活的有关情况。请写一封回信，内容包括： 1．陈述理由； 2．提出建议。 注意：1．写作词数应为80左右； 2．信的首段及结束语已为你写好，不计入总词数。 参考词汇：live a low-carbon life 过低碳生活 Dear John， You have asked me about how I should live a low­carbon life and I will be glad to tell you what I'm planning to do．
