一. 教材分析:
本节课主要教授的是外研版(2019)必修第三册 Unit 3 The world of Science Developing ideas一课程。本单元的主题语境是“人与社会”,涉及的主题语境内容是科技发展和科学精神。Developing ideas板块课文的语篇类型为论说文。介绍了人们对Franklin著名的风筝实验真实性的怀疑和求证,学生将通过本篇课文的学习了解科学家的故事、学习科学家的求真精神。
二. 学情分析:
学生是高二年级的学生,之前因为疫情原因加上学生自己的实际水平的原因,所以我们高二才开始必修第三册的学习。我们的学生英语水平有限,而且对科学领域的知识了解相对较少。但是他们对新知识充满好奇,希望能够通过课堂学习,更好地了解科学的定义、学习科学家追求真理的精神,并能把这种精神运用到以后的英语学习中。
三.Teaching aims :
After this class ,make sure we can reach the goals :
1. By reading the essay ,master some vocabulary and sentence structures about science .
2. Learn to analyse the title and get important information from it .
3. Get the procedure of the experiment and learn to write experiment report in English;
4. Learn from scientist , always ask questions and do experiment and research to get facts 。
四.The key points and the important points :
1. Make sure they can read the passage to get the main idea of the passage 。
2. Get the procedure of the experiment and learn to write experiment report in English。
3. After learning the passage , make sure they know which is true and which is false in the story 。
4. Learn from the scientists , make them know we should not believe everything we read or hear -- even if it is a great story 。
五.Teaching methods:
1. teacher-student interaction:the teacher ask questions to help students do reading comprehension and do interaction by asking and answering questions 。
2.cooperation :work in groups to discuss and solve problems.
3.teaching with media:show ppt and tasks with media to help students know what to do .
