Students discuss and share answers. To brainstorm some some adjectives to describe the feelings of the characters. Activity 2 Teacher creates some situations to let students use some adjectives including happy, angry, scared and sad to describe the feelings of the characters and then asks them to change the adjectives into sentences by using some actions to describe the feelings. Students discuss and share answers according to the situations. To practice the ability to use some actions to describe the feelings. Activity 3 1. Teacher shares some ways to use some actions to describe the feelings and then lets students practice by giving some examples. 2. Teacher invites one or two groups to share their answers and give reasons and others make comments. 1. Students appreciate the sharing and discuss the questions in groups. 2 . One or two groups share their answers and give reasons and others make comments. To enhance students’ understanding of using some actions to describe the feelings and encourage students to show their own opinions. Activity 4 Teacher invites some students to summarize the two skills of describing the feelings of characters. Some students share what they have learnt.
