7 most popular future jobs in 2030
你是否想过大学毕业后要从事什么工作呢?那些你心仪的工作是否在未来还存在呢?
Lawyer? Detective? Estate agent? Dentist? Forget them.
In a new report made by the UK government and conducted by Fast Future, a brilliant group of futurists and thinkers were asked to predict what science and technology jobs they think would be most popular by the year 2030 while considering advances and developments achieved between now and then. The results were both surprising and interesting.
For example, computers and robots are expected to transform the fields of medicine and farming. In medicine, the invention of living limbs (四肢) and organs for the disabled will lead to new jobs in the sports: body part maker.
But that's not all. Here's a list of 7 future science and technology jobs, with summarised descriptions:
•Elderly wellness consultants:
As an aging population increases in size, we'll employ more people to attend to their physical and mental needs.
•Space pilots, tour guides and architects:
Space tourism will require space pilots, tour guides and architects to live on the moon.
•Vertical (垂直的) farmers: The future of farming is straight up. Vertical farms in urban areas could significantly guarantee food supply.
•Climate change specialists: Regardless of what you think about climate change, it's clear we'll need scientists who specialise in dealing with it.
•Weather police: If weather patterns can be changed and affect other parts of the world, law enforcement (强制) will be needed to keep things legal.
•Narrowcasters: The opposite of “broadcaster”. Media will grow increasingly personalised, and we'll need people to handle all those personal needs.
•Virtual space organisers: Now that your electronic life is more complicated and confusing than your physical one, you'll need someone to clean things up — including your e-mail, desktop and user accounts.
