UNIT 10　You’re supposed to shake hands. Section A (3a-4c) 第2课时 设计说明 本课时主要学习有关哥伦比亚和瑞士两个国家的风俗的文章。教学时利用图片, 复习句型What be sb. supposed to do when sb. meet for the first time?, 接着通过讨论在哥伦比亚和瑞士对于就餐迟到这一问题导入课堂。通过速读、细读和读后表演等活动, 使学生理解课文内容。通过要求学生读Grammar Focus的句子, 总结出该单元的语法内容, 即: 三个句式结构。讲解后接着练习。通过练习, 学生掌握这三个句式结构的运用。最后, 通过当堂达标, 学生可自我检验自己的学习情况, 以便查漏补缺。 教学目标 通过本课时的学习, 让学生达成以下目标: 1. 知识目标 (1) 掌握本课时新单词及短语: relaxed, value, capital, noon, mad, effort, passport, chalk, blackboard, northern, coast, season, knock, eastern, worth, manner, drop by, after all, get mad, make an effort, clean…off, take off。 (2) 掌握重点句子: ①…it’s important to be on time. ②You’re supposed to shake hands./You’re not supposed to shake hands. ③…you’re expected to wear a suit and tie. 2. 能力目标 (1) 能听懂关于风俗礼仪方面的语言材料。 (2) 能运用所学知识谈论当地的风俗。 (3) 能就风俗礼仪与他人进行交流。 3. 情感目标 通过对风俗礼仪的学习, 了解不同地方有不同的风俗礼仪, 形成尊重他人的风俗习惯和使用正确的礼仪与他人交流的意识。 重点难点 重点: (1)了解哥伦比亚和瑞士的习俗 (2)正确运用be supposed to do; be expected to do; It is + 形容词+ to do sth. 难点: 结合实际情况, 用正确的礼仪与他人交流 教学准备 PPT课件; 3a的录音 授课时数 1课时 教学过程 Step 1　Revision 1.
