特殊句式2：强调句 特殊句式是英语高考常考点之一。在高考中主要考查点有:倒装句、强调句、省略句、反意疑问句、祈使句和感叹句等。特殊句式的考查常出现在高考试题中的语法填空、句子翻译和书面表达中。 强调含强调句型及对动词谓语强调。 【1】It is / was…...that / who…… (强调人时可用that或who，强调物时只用that) 一般疑问句：Is / Was ＋ it ＋...that / who...? 特殊疑问句：特殊疑问词＋ is / was it＋ that ＋其他 检验标准：去掉强调结构，剩余部分（或调整语序后）依然是完整句子。 （1）It was when I got back to my apartment that I first came across my new neighbors. （2）Was it on a lonely island that he was saved one month after the boat went down? （3）What is it that you want me to do？ （4）Who was it that broke the window？ （5）When was it that he made up his mind to take this course? 例1 正是通过远程教育，玛丽学会了如何进行个人投资。 （It） It is through distance education that Mary learns how to make personal investment. 例2 在有些情况下，重要的不是结果，而是你是否享受了这个过程。(matter) In some cases, it was whether you enjoy the process that matters instead of the result. 例3 就是在我们经常购物的那家超市我偶然遇到了我们过去的班主任。(It) It was in the supermarket where we often went shopping that I met with our former class teacher. 例4 是什么使他在一次交通事故中丧命？(cost) What is it that makes him cost his life in an accident?  “not...until...”的强调句：It is/was not until...that... It was not until I came here that I realized this place was famous for not only its beauty but also its weather. 例5 直到生病他才意识到不吃早饭的危害性。( It …not until…) It was not until he was ill that he realized the danger of skipping breakfast. 例6 直到这家百年老店通过发布一系列产品来化为转机，人们才真正懂得创新的重要性。(turn) It wasn’t until the century-old store turned a turnaround by releasing a series of products that people really understood the importance of innovation. 【2】强调谓语：Do + 动词原形    “务必......” = Be sure to + 动词原形 备注：用助动词帮助强调，有人称和数的变化 (1) Do be careful! “务必” (2) He did tell me the news. “确实” (3) She does love talking. “确实” (4) Do teach him a lesson! “务必” 例7 为了您的家庭幸福，务必遵守交通规则。（Do） Do obey / observe / keep / follow traffic rules for the happiness of your family. 例8 打喷嚏时，务必用纸巾遮住口鼻。(Do) （2021秋考） Do cover your mouth and nose with tissues/a tissue /paper towel/napkin when sneezing/you are sneezing.
