Unit6 宾语从句讲解 宾语从句 一、概念 在复合句中用作宾语的从句叫宾语从句。宾语从句是一种名词性从句，在句中作及物动词的宾语，或介词的宾语，或形容词的宾语。 找出下列句子的宾语： （1）I love you. （2）My mother looks after me. （3）I think that my English teacher is beautiful. 注意：形容词+that从句 有些形容词具有动词的含义，所以也可以带一个that引导的宾语从句。 I am sorry I am late. I am glad that you can join us. 常用来引导宾语从句的形容词有sure, certain, glad, pleasured, happy, sorry, afraid, surprised等。 I am sure I will pass the exam. I am sorry that I have troubled you so long. 二、用法：学习宾语从句要抓住三要素：连接词、语序和时态。 （一）连接词 根据引导宾语从句的不同连词，宾语从句可分为三类。 (1) 由that引导的宾语从句。that只有语法作用，没有实在的意义，在口语和非正式文体中可以省略。 He said (that) he wanted to stay at home. She doesn’t know (that) she is seriously ill. I am sure (that) he will succeed. (2) 由if或whether引导的宾语从句。if和whether在句中的意思是“是否”。 I want to know if (whether) he lives there. He asked me whether (if) I could help him. 注意：if 和whether的区别 1）、由 连词if、 whether 引导的表示“是否…”的宾语从句。whether, if 在从句中不做句子的成分，一般情况下，whether和if 可以替换。 例：I don’t know if/whether he will come tomorrow. 2）、下面几种情况只能用whether ①和不定式连(whether to do sth.)用作宾语时不用if引导. 例：Whether to go there hasn’t been decided. They asked me whether to go shopping. ②宾语从句中有or not时不用if引导. 例：I don’t know whether the star will come or not. ③在介词后面的宾语从句中不用if引导 例：I’m thinking of whether we should go fishing. 练习： 1.
