Exercise 6
Purpose: to help students complete sentences with the correct forms of verbs and then put sentences in the correct order a nan
· Direct students to the chart in Exercise 5. Revise the rules for forming third person singular verbs. Then direct students to the verbs in the box. Say "Complete the sentences with the correct form of the verbs". You may have students work in pairs if they need support.
· When students have finished, you may choose to go over the answers at this point, or have them put the sentences in the correct order. Either way, point out the example, item c. Say "Now put the sentences in the correct or der". Again, you may have students work in pairs. Monitor as students complete the activity, offering help as needed.
· Go over the answers, asking individual students to read the sentences in the correct order.

Purpose: to help students complete a table with do not (don't) or does not (doesn't)
· Direct students to Exercise 2. Read the second sentence in the second paragraph aloud: "We have to eat very fast because we do not have much time". Write _____ have on the board. Ask "What's the negative form?" Elicit do not. You may skip this step if you feel students are ready to do the exercise.
· Direct students to the table. Say "Complete the table with do not or does not". Monitor as students complete the table, offering assistance as needed.
· Go over the answers, having individual students say the sentences aloud.

Exercise 8
Purpose: to help students correct false sentences
· Ask " Is this sentence about Jim Robert true or false? Jim lives in a room wit
