Greeting with the Ss. 2. Review the words on food. And list them into countable nouns, uncountable nouns, countable and uncountable nouns. 3. T introduces his/her like or dislike for food and three meals eating diet.For example: T：I like eggs, chicken, vegetables, tomatoes. I don’t like salad, carrots or pears. I have eggs and milk for breakfast and have rice, chicken and vegetable for lunch. I have tomatoes and eggs for dinner. 4. T encourages Ss to introduce their like or dislike food and three meals eating diet. 5. T corrects the Ss’ pronunciation. Step2. Work on 1a-1b 1. Work on1a, read the words together in the box, then write the number in the box next to the correct food. 2. Finish 1b. Let Ss classify the words about food and then write them down according to fruit and vegetable. 3. Ss read the words once again. Step3. Listening(1c-1d) 1. Finish 1c. Listen the tape and circle the food you hear in 1a. 2. Work on 1d. Listen again and fill in the chart in 1d. 3. Read after the tape and T corrects the pronunciation. Step 4. Pair work(1e) 1. Ss ask and answer according to the information in 1d chart. 2. Ss make new conversations according to their own situation. 3.
