In 2a-2b Ss have to learn some new words and do some reading . The topic of this lesson is resolutions. Such topic is related to our daily life. It’s helpful to arouse Ss’ learning interest. This lesson is in Section B, if students learn it well, they can not only master the simple future tense, but also learn to make resolutions. And meanwhile, their reading skills will be improved. But some of them are poor at English. They can’t even understand simple English. They don’t like remembering words, they are afraid of reading passages. However, almost all of them show great interests in English learning. They are so active in class , so taking on this point, I’ll prepare some videos and mind maps to attract them to participate in class learning, and help them to improve their reading ability.
