Book 3Unit 6 Disaster and Hope Developing ideas Stars after the storm教学设计 1.Teaching philosophy（教学理念） This class is based on Student-centered Teaching Activities, Task-based Teaching Method and Communicative Teaching Method, adopting “Reading Circle” Teaching Model. The “Reading Circle” Teaching Model mainly includes the following four steps: reading and understanding, group discussing, exchanging ideas and presenting ideas, with six roles: discussion leader, culture ambassador, summarizer, word master, passage decoder and real life connector. Before the class, the students have read the passage and finished the learning tasks on their own. In this class they will discuss and exchange their ideas in groups first, and then show their opinions role by role. 2. Learning objectives (学习目标) To understand the main idea and structure of the passage better; To learn to use emotional words to describe different feelings; To develop a positive attitude towards difficulty. 教学重点： 1. 引导学生读懂文章，获取文章的主旨和篇章结构； 2. 利用思维导图，分析作者在灾害前后的心理感受变化。 教学难点： 1. 学会使用情感描述词汇表达不同的心理感受； 2. 批判性思考标题和语篇中的意向，并积极表达自己的看法。 3.
