Unit 2 Colours
本单元是牛津九年级英语上册的第二单元,围绕“颜色”这个主题层层展开了一系列的英语教
学活动。 教材中所选的对话,短文及听力材料都与颜色相关。 不同的颜色对我们的情绪有着不同
的影响,本单元的主要任务是引导学生理解、掌握颜色与情绪的关系及对情绪的影响,通过本单元
的教学,学生能够更加热爱这个五彩斑斓的世界,并能运用颜色来调理自己的心情
第一课时 Comic strip & Welcome to the unit 通过 Hobo 和 Eddie 风趣的对话,引出单元主题话
题———颜色,通过学习彩虹的 7 种颜色的表达,来训练学生自编对话谈论彩虹的颜色和最喜欢的颜
色;Reading 是阅读训练课,是本单元的重点,通过文章 Colours and Moods 向大家介绍了冷色、暖色、
活力色、亮色四个色系的颜色对人们情绪的影响。 针对文章内容教材设计了词汇训练、各种颜色代
表的含义及运用等题目,帮助学生理解与掌握文章内容;Grammar 讲解的是 that、if 和 whether 引导
的宾语从句的用法,分别安排了多种形式的练习来操练;Integrated skills 围绕 Mrs. Rainbow 的颜色
疗法设计了相关的广告阅读、听力训练,引导学生了解颜色疗法家的工作,学会运用颜色来帮助我
们调节心情;Study skills 介绍的是 Scanning(查读)这种阅读方法,并提供了阅读材料来具体操练这
种方法;最后一个课时 Task 根据 Millie 提供的范文对图中人物的衣着颜色分析该人物的情绪,要
求学生能根据图画和所给信息另外两幅广告的模特着装的颜色,然后模分析广告的合理性并写一
份新的报告。 Task 从笔头方面考查学生能否正确运用本单元所学的知识。
